The Flight Incident Simulation Course (SIV) in Panticosa is designed to improve the skills and increase the confidence of pilots in the air. During the course, realistic incidents will be simulated so that participants can know how their equipment will react and learn how to react to them.
As a pilot, it is important to be prepared for difficult situations in the air. Upon completion of the SIV course, we will have the ability and tools to identify and react to incidents that may occur during a flight in thermal or turbulent conditions.
In addition, the course gives you the confidence to return the wing to its normal flight configuration after an incident. With this confidence, you will be able to fly with safety and peace of mind.
The SIV course in Panticosa is a unique opportunity to improve your skills as a pilot and become a skilled and safe pilot in the air.
Don’t wait any longer and join this course today!
Our SIV course is adapted to each pilot, but a number of requirements are necessary:
Paragliders or chairs will not be accepted if they have: Broken or peeled lines. Metal and hardware components showing signs of fatigue or fracture. All harness loops must connect and open correctly. The emergency parachute must be correctly installed (it will always be checked and corrected if required).
With 2 riser gliders and some EN C gliders, folding lines are required, in case of not having them, it will not be possible to perform collapse maneuvers of the glider.
Our training plan is based on the simulation and subsequent resolution of flight incidents. We will study the origin of the incidences (over piloting, angle of incidence of the leading edge, flight in turbulent conditions, etc.) and how to solve them. In addition to how to anticipate these, and how to prevent the reactions of your glider through active piloting.
The training plan includes an initial theoretical class where we will study each and every one of the maneuvers that will be performed during the course, always taking into account four axes of knowledge:
Every day of the course we will carry out a review and feedback stage of each day, where we will study the exercises, recorded on video, that we have done during the day where the incidences of each pilot will be corrected. The content of the course has been divided in order to be as progressive as possible, so that the level of the maneuvers can be assimilated by any pilot.
We adapt to the level of each pilot and offer an educational solution adapted to the level and experience of each pilot.

Both the SIV BASIC COURSE and the SIV ADVANCED COURSE have the same duration and take place on weekends.
*If the weather does not allow enough flights in the morning, afternoon weather will be used.
**If the 6 flights cannot be carried out during the weekend, we will be able to return on the next SIV with available seats; in order to finish the missing flights.
Our school is located in the heart of the Pyrenees, based on the banks of the Bubal reservoir, where we will carry out the course maneuvers.

It can be accessed from Spain or France, and most of the route from the main Spanish cities is via highways or freeways.
The courses will not be given by Tandemteam, we do not have a suitable place, the infrastructure and the specialization of the instructors.
But you will be accompanied by Nicolas Cordero, Tandemteam instructor, who knows your shortcomings and that way we can adjust the pedagogy and maneuvers to get the most out of it.
In the course we will have an adequate infrastructure, such as a suitable place for the theories, video projector, kitchen, bathroom and wifi. In addition to different takeoffs.
This year we have a brutal demand and there is a very high occupancy.
Here are the dates that are free. Don’t miss out and don’t wait until the last minute.
Hurry to make your reservation, as we have few places available.
